Background
Leisure and amusement facilities onboard hundreds of temporary workers simultaneously during peak seasons. Safety compliance training is mandatory regardless of season, but site managers prioritized operations over training time. Off-season staff reductions to below half made maintaining training infrastructure difficult.
Solution
Safety and facility operations training was designed as a mobile-only 3-day completion program. App installation was made a prerequisite for compliance completion to secure adoption. Auto-assignment ensured zero training gaps even during peak-season mass onboarding.
Results
Compliance completion exceeded 85%, and peak-season mass training was automated, dramatically reducing site managers' training overhead. Mobile-complete training eliminated the structural conflict between operations and training schedules. Off-season facility safety content maintained access rhythm year-round.
Insight
As confirmed in the whitepaper, in the leisure/service industry with high turnover and sharply fluctuating seasonal staff, "finish it on your phone in 3 minutes" is the realistic bar. High turnover paradoxically increases the necessity of mobile learning, and because training-investment payback periods are longer than staff tenures, efficient onboarding matters even more.
